Raukura Hauora O Tainui, have a vacancy for a 0.3 GP for the Manurewa Marae Whare Oranga Clinic based at Manurewa Marae.
Whare Oranga also provides holistic services, including Mirimiri (massage), Maori Rongoa, and social services that focus on Whaanau Ora. If you are looking for a holistic environment to work in and would like to contribute to improved quality of life for whaanau, then this is the position for you. The clinic looks over the Puhinui inlet, and has the most amazing scenic water views.
This is a start up initiative and it is anticipated that the patient base will be weighted towards high needs, with a high proportion of Maori patients. This is a 12 hour per week position between Monday to Friday on days to suit, to start in May 2010. Salary package or independent contract as preferred. FRNZCGP required.
